Why Playing Games is Not a Waste of Time :-)

My biggest pet peeve when it comes to parent nagging is when they tell me to stop playing games! I play video games can par up to any of that.
I believe that anything that benefits you is not a waste. Playing games online can help you make new friends, experience interaction with different types of people not in your area, or even yet, from another country. Team play coordination is also learned. We learn to communicate and coordinate with each other in games such as starcraft or warcraft.
The only downfall are the MMORPG games such as World of Warcraft, boys and girls need to be careful about these games that can cause an addition and possibly ruin real life relationships and school work. Computer games are not a waste of time as long as you play casually and not seriously, there are many other things to do in life.
