Getting Started with WordPress 5.0 and the Gutenberg Editor

The new WordPress 5.0 is out now. You’ll see the update notifications in your admin dashboard. If you’re planning to use the new editor, you can watch this video and see what new features the new Gutenberg editor has to offer.

The new WordPress editor and it is nicknamed Gutenberg. Many have heard about it, but the released version of WordPress 5.0 with the new Gutenberg Editor baked in.

If you’re not wanting to use the new Gutenberg editor, you can install the free Classic Editor plugin found on WordPress. This will disable Gutenberg and allow you to still use the old editor.
