Tree Vent or Wind Tree (Arbress à vent in French) is wind power generated from light breezes. Created by French entrepreneur Jérôme Michaud-Larivière and developed by his French based company NewWind.
These ‘Tree-Shaped’ wind turbines are small enough to fit your backyard. It can power a small office for a year and enough to power a house for a family of four. Power harnessed silently via its leaf called ‘AEROLEAF’ and each tree can generate 3.5kW of energy with wind speed of as low as 4.5 Mph.
